If you are familiar with internet marketing then you know that it changes frequently. New technical advances, ideas, and methods make it WAY more competitive than the average business. I would say about 1000X more!
Terry makes reference to different services that changed their names a couple of years back and that certainly points to material that at least, needs to be updated. But don't get me wrong, he still offers some useful information, it just may not be as thorough as it could be.
Any internet marketer should be aware of of Terry Dean and his teachings. There are however, many other aspects of internet marketing that must be addressed to ensure success. If you can follow a simple, proven, step-by-step process put together by extremely successful internet marketers and combine them with some of Terry's advice, you could quickly build a successful global internet business.
One weakness with Dean's material is that by the time I read his Net Breakthroughs course it looked a few years old, at least three by my count, which on the internet, something as little as 2 years is equivalent to 10 years in the offline world.
So while his diary concept was great, it may be useless. The evidence I have that it could be a few years old is that it refers to Yahoo Search Marketing as Goto.com. Goto changed their name to Overture Services in 2001, and was bought out by Yahoo which then became Yahoo Search Marketing in 2005, so this is some seriously outdated information.
Even if this course appears antiquated, I still give Dean a thumbs up for his creative style and teaching ability. Terry Dean is a marketer we can really learn a lot from, especially if he would ever updated his material!
Seeing as how it is now 2009 and Terry Dean is still promoting "Net Breakthroughs" you can understand when I say that even though some of the stuff that he covers is good it is still outdated and there are more up to date programs available.
Even if this course appears antiquated, I still give Dean a thumbs up for his creative style and teaching ability. Terry Dean is a marketer we can really learn a lot from, especially if he would ever update his material!

Each year, thousands of companies consistently raise prices to increase margins and offset growth in various costs. For anyone working in corporate America, you are quite familiar with this tactic. For marketers, rising costs are always a challenge.
Price increases can negatively impact the sales and marketing efforts for today's busy marketing professional. A price increase on products or services that haven't changed creates a difficult scenario for current customers familiar with a lower cost. This is especially true when we hear objections from our customers expressing their dissatisfaction. With few or literally no changes to a given product overcoming objections is difficult.
A key concern among marketing professionals is that customers will quickly move to a competitors product as soon as they hear the words price increase. This is especially true in markets where your competitor has a similarly priced product. There is always someone else that your customer can buy from. The good news however is that few customers migrate because of price increases.
There are a number of reasons why customers do not jump ship so quickly. The bottom line is that switch has costs associated with it. These costs are both and emotional as well as financial.
Consumers have been conditioned to ask for a discount or find the sales rack. When introducing a price increase to your customers they are going to want to avoid it at all costs. This is just human nature. But this also explains why they will continue to ask for discounts long after their customers even though they wont leave you.
Below I list just a few things to consider before communicating a price increase to customers. Do what you can to lighten the load or simply divert attention to something of greater value.
Add value that is greater than or equal to your price increase. Customers do not want to pay more for the same old thing. When they do, their perception of value diminishes. Provide additional services, support, or terms to deliver additional value that is substantiated by price.
Evaluate the cost for your customer to switch. This consideration has always been popular among phone companies. They not only want to sell more to existing customers, but they also want to attract new ones. You must be able to explain to your customer what costs he will incur if he changes providers. These costs may be both financial as well as emotional. How much time, energy, and resources will it take to truly switch?
Do not treat all customers equally. I know it is taboo today to say such a thing but not all customers are equal. Some have been with you a long time. Others are working with you for the first time. Your price increases should reflect the individuality of your customers and the impact you wish to have. Consider treating customers differently.
The last piece of advice I can give anyone thinking about delivering price increases is to fully understand the competition and what types of alternatives are available to those you currently serve.
If your company offers a better package at an equal or more favorable price, the notion of losing droves of customers over a single price increase really is not an issue. If your offering is less valuable however then investments may need to be made to enhance the product or simply revisit pricing.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and powerful ways of earning some money online. This program gives everybody a chance to make a profit through the Internet. Since these affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, implement and pays a commission on a regular basis, more an more people are now willing to get involved in this business.
But being so easy to get started does create its own problems. If you just jump straight in then you can make mistakes which are costly in terms of both money and time. Much better to avoid making these mistakes in the first place.
Mistake number 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate program.
To tell you the truth, I have done this myself, particularly in early days. I saw a product which everybody was talking about and I thought to myself, if they are all extolling its virtues then I must get in there too, but that is not a good way to go about things.
So avoid the tendency to jump on the popularity bandwagon, and instead ask yourself what am I really interested in, and then chose a product based on that criteria.
You are much more likely to succeed if you choose to work with a product that you feel passionate about.
Now to mistake number 2. And that is joining too many affiliate programs.
Since affiliate programs are very easy to join, you might be tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs to try and maximize the earnings you will be getting. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.
But the problem is that you will not be able to concentrate and focus in on any one particular program, you will have so many to look after.
And what will probably happen is that all the programs you promote will have mediocre results. Really, it is best to focus on one program at a time, get that one going well, and then move on to another.
The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and it seems affiliate marketing will be staying for a long time too.

I recently stopped down at J Signs located at 12 Highland ave in Patchogue. I met the Owners Jerome Morello and Craig Casdia, Who told me about all the things J signs can do to Help promote your Business these guys do Store Front Signage, Wide Format Digital Printing,Carved/Gold Leaf Signs,Contour cut decals,Channel Letters,Truck & Boat Lettering, Banners, Magnetic Signs,Window / Door Lettering,Installations, Service, Repairs, Architectural Signage and so much more I could write 5 articles of these guys!
In this articles I'm going to tell you about J signs Vehicle Wraps! The Wraps are done in House at J Signs by Duncan Weir owner of Graphic Gorilla! Now when I got to J signs I had no idea what Vehicle Wraps where, Duncan was more then happy to teach me a little about Wraps.Duncan was working on a Mini Van while I was their placing a wrap on it for a pet care company. Wraps feel almost like a vinyl bumper sticker But of course they are much more state of the art and High tech then that. Duncan had to go to school to learn all about wraps,He also has a Bachelors in fine art,Computer Graphics Specializing in 3-D Graphics. He showed me how the wraps come off in large sheets and then are apply to the Vehicle in pieces and are then heated so they bond to the Vehicle seamlessly. Wraps will stay on till you want to take them off , a wrap can be removed in the future so if you can sell your vehicle one day with out the wrap on it. The paint under the wrap will be as good as the day you placed the wrap on it.
This is just one thing that sets Vehicle Wraps apart from having your Vehicle air brushed! another is the detail of the wraps you get! You can blow up a real photo or have the team at Graphic Gorilla design you up anything from a professional Corporate look to anything your loud and crazy mind can come up with! Vehicle Wraps are not new they have been around a few years and they are huge in California. The quality of wraps has improved greatly over the years and the Wraps that are used at J signs are state of the art.
The average wrap lasts over Five years and if taken care of properly can last up to ten years! I asked Duncan, who are some of the people having their vehicle's wrapped? He told me many Radio Stations and Travel agencies are having it Done,But many Business are realizing as they sit in traffic for 3 or 4 hours a day and hundreds of people are driving by them in each direction, Wraps really make them stand out and catch the eye of those who could potently be clients.
