Electronic Billboards - What is difference from AdWords?
by Bill Stock
This article describes common differencies between Electronic Billboards of North America and Google AdWords technologies:
1. Google Adwords is PPC (Pay Per Click) advertisement technology where you pay when someone clicks on your ad link. In some cases it's good, but when you choose right keyword for you, you suddenly discover that you are only one of buyers of keyword and in order to get click to your link you should pay up to 70$ per click (for some keywords). With Electronic Billboards of North America technology you only pay for owing keyword for full year and you, and only you will be shown as a result of search for your keyword.
2. In Google Adwords campaign you have to compete with other companies and raise price for your keywords. Sometimes your ROI can be negative and you should be high professional to get positive results. With Electronic Billboards of North America you just need to set url for keyword and get ready for getting traffic to your website.
3. Your advertisement budget can vary in Google Adwords, depending on keywords and number of impressions that you choose. Electronic Billboards of North America has fixed flat price for any keywords that you choose. Only traffic will vary, so only thing that you have to worry is to choose right keywords for your business.
4. When someone searches your keyword, Electronic Billboards of North America already displays your website in IFRAME so it means that people already can see your website, without clicking on ad link (not many people like clicking on ad links).
5. Last and not least difference: Google Adwords works only with Google Search Engine, when Electronic Billboards of North America works on All Major Search Engines, plus hundreeds of other partner websites with search features!
I'm using both technologies, cause I think they're both good in their way, but you can decide which model is best for you.

Prices Increase And Savvy Marketers Add Value
Prices Increase And Savvy Marketers Add Value
by Michael Fleischner
Each year, thousands of companies consistently raise prices to increase margins and offset growth in various costs. For anyone working in corporate America, you are quite familiar with this tactic. For marketers, rising costs are always a challenge.
Price increases can negatively impact the sales and marketing efforts for today's busy marketing professional. A price increase on products or services that haven't changed creates a difficult scenario for current customers familiar with a lower cost. This is especially true when we hear objections from our customers expressing their dissatisfaction. With few or literally no changes to a given product overcoming objections is difficult.
A key concern among marketing professionals is that customers will quickly move to a competitors product as soon as they hear the words price increase. This is especially true in markets where your competitor has a similarly priced product. There is always someone else that your customer can buy from. The good news however is that few customers migrate because of price increases.
There are a number of reasons why customers do not jump ship so quickly. The bottom line is that switch has costs associated with it. These costs are both and emotional as well as financial.
Consumers have been conditioned to ask for a discount or find the sales rack. When introducing a price increase to your customers they are going to want to avoid it at all costs. This is just human nature. But this also explains why they will continue to ask for discounts long after their customers even though they wont leave you.
Below I list just a few things to consider before communicating a price increase to customers. Do what you can to lighten the load or simply divert attention to something of greater value.
Add value that is greater than or equal to your price increase. Customers do not want to pay more for the same old thing. When they do, their perception of value diminishes. Provide additional services, support, or terms to deliver additional value that is substantiated by price.
Evaluate the cost for your customer to switch. This consideration has always been popular among phone companies. They not only want to sell more to existing customers, but they also want to attract new ones. You must be able to explain to your customer what costs he will incur if he changes providers. These costs may be both financial as well as emotional. How much time, energy, and resources will it take to truly switch?
Do not treat all customers equally. I know it is taboo today to say such a thing but not all customers are equal. Some have been with you a long time. Others are working with you for the first time. Your price increases should reflect the individuality of your customers and the impact you wish to have. Consider treating customers differently.
The last piece of advice I can give anyone thinking about delivering price increases is to fully understand the competition and what types of alternatives are available to those you currently serve.
If your company offers a better package at an equal or more favorable price, the notion of losing droves of customers over a single price increase really is not an issue. If your offering is less valuable however then investments may need to be made to enhance the product or simply revisit pricing.

Don't Fall Victim to the 3 Affiliate Mistakes
Don't Fall Victim to the 3 Affiliate Mistakes
by John Savage
Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and powerful ways of earning some money online. This program gives everybody a chance to make a profit through the Internet. Since these affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, implement and pays a commission on a regular basis, more an more people are now willing to get involved in this business.
But being so easy to get started does create its own problems. If you just jump straight in then you can make mistakes which are costly in terms of both money and time. Much better to avoid making these mistakes in the first place.
Mistake number 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate program.
To tell you the truth, I have done this myself, particularly in early days. I saw a product which everybody was talking about and I thought to myself, if they are all extolling its virtues then I must get in there too, but that is not a good way to go about things.
So avoid the tendency to jump on the popularity bandwagon, and instead ask yourself what am I really interested in, and then chose a product based on that criteria.
You are much more likely to succeed if you choose to work with a product that you feel passionate about.
Now to mistake number 2. And that is joining too many affiliate programs.
Since affiliate programs are very easy to join, you might be tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs to try and maximize the earnings you will be getting. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.
But the problem is that you will not be able to concentrate and focus in on any one particular program, you will have so many to look after.
And what will probably happen is that all the programs you promote will have mediocre results. Really, it is best to focus on one program at a time, get that one going well, and then move on to another.
The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and it seems affiliate marketing will be staying for a long time too.
Mistake number 3: Not buying the product or using the service.
You really must not fall into this mistake as people will ask you for your opinion of the various products that you are promoting, and you must be able to speak from personal experience.
So make sure that you try out the product yourself before you start to promote it to others, and this way you will be able to speak with confidence about how valuable the product is.
Now these 3 common mistakes that I have listed are mistakes that many a marketer has made, and in some cases it has cost them dearly. If you are aware of them there is every chance that you will be able to avoid them.
So make out a plan of action, and then, as they say, work your plan daily, all the time checking and re-checking that you are staying on target with your efforts.

Internet Email Marketing
Internet Email Marketing
by Jeff Dedrick
I've found that one of the best mediums for marketing any business is internet email marketing. By using email as your medium of promotion you are almost guaranteeing your message will be read by thousands if not millions of people depending on the size of your email list. This form of promotion has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, but with it, came with the need to implement rules and regulations to govern it.
When starting an internet email marketing campaign, it's important that your list is indeed targeted and 100% opt in. An opt in list is simply a mailing list where every person on the list has specifically requested to be on the list.
It means that they have visited your site or a site you are affiliated with, and manually entered their information, which in turn gives you permission to email them with the information they requested.
When operating an email campaign, you need to abide by all the applicable laws. Do not take any shortcuts, or break any rules. You'll have the peace of mind knowing that you are doing everything exactly as outlined in the regulations, therefore you can go about promoting your business ethically and without any legal implication. Many people overlook this aspect and turn to spamming to earn a quick buck, but it can lead to many legal complications that you surely don't need.
Starting out with internet email marketing may require some upfront capital. It's not always the most affordable way to get started, but if done right, it will indeed be very profitable. In fact, it can be a lot more profitable than other mediums of promotion. As you market through email, your message is delivered into the inbox of your prospect. With a good offer, you can achieve a great return on your investment.

Steps to Generating New Business for Partners
Steps to Generating New Business for Partners
by Toby Earheart
When two similar companies come together to do business, it can result in B2B or Business-to-Business lead generation. When do two companies become compatible? When one company's products or services are in demand by the other. This is perhaps the most predominant feature of Business-to-Business lead generation. The profit margins of a company can be positively or negatively impacted by B2B sales.
For example if you take the manufacturing sector and suppose you make personal computers. Now obviously you would not be manufacturing each and every part yourself, so you need to buy those parts from a company that manufactures them. It makes good business sense if you maintain long term relationships with companies who manufacture the parts. This can help you masking custom made parts for your business and the supplier is also happy with a steady stream of income. If you got into some good long term relationships with companies who constantly need parts made by you, you would be very successful in your venture.
The concept of Business-to-Business lead generation is gradually getting perceived as having a pivotal role. There are several ways this could be done ? for example the way it was once done was telemarketing and direct mailing, despite its limitations but the more commonly used areas are ads in trade journals or trade shows. Incidentally, trade shows are all about bring two similar companies together. Excellent business leads could be generated with the help of a masterly presentation which not only provides important information but a pleasure to watch too. It does not only depend on the quality of presentation but also on the style in which the trade show has been organized. Poor or lack of quality attendance could be a waste of time and other valuable resources. If key people are unable to attend the presentation, consider setting up a cheap VoIP connection so they can sit in remotely.
One of the cost-effective ways to reach out for B2 lead generation is promoting in trade magazines which reach most of the industry crowd. Such ads would easily reach the kind of people you are targeting. Thus trade magazines become a more targeted media than radio or newspapers.
The internet is known for its spread as well as the kind of influence it has, so it could also offer you great openings for B2B lead generation. The process of online lead generation uses various internet based techniques like direct marketing, search marketing and banners among others. The current market trend is on an upward swing and what is valued at .3 billion could go past billion by 2008.

Readymade Review Sites - Boosting Affiliate Marketing With Review
Readymade Review Sites - Boosting Affiliate Marketing With Review
by Joris Bonzo
Affiliate Marketing is something you have probably heard of. Today this is a very common thing on Internet. The concept of Affiliate Marketing is very easy to understand. One party has a product which he sells online. This can be an info product, software or physical products.
Other people are going to promote this product by Paper Click Advertising and/or Search Engine Optimization. For that the affiliate (the one who promotes the product) usually sets up a sales page (website) in which they link to the website of the product. And for every sold purchased product via an affiliate, the affiliate is rewarded with a commission.
There are many people making a good money of affiliate marketing. It used to be quite simple, but with all the competition nowadays the game has become much more difficult. This is because many people found out about it. You really need to do it different than the other marketer. A good system is the system of Readymade Review Sites.
there are many different ways to execute this. ( there is more information to be found on this subject when you google it.) But there is a way to become much more successful as an affiliate, which is a very new way.
this method ( Readymade Review Sites ) is chosen because everybody knows that people don`t want to be sold a product, but they like it better when they get a recommendation from someone who they know and trust really well.
So when an individual is interested in a product but is not sure about it yet, he might want to look for reviews to make a final decision. And that is exactly what happens. Often people combine a product name and review in search terms in a search engine.
After going to Google they will see number of sites reviewing the product that they are researching. The tactic that I was telling you about earlier is taking advantage of this fact. When they click they go to the site with the review and affiliate link to the product.
As a result people will read the review, getting a last push in the right direction, go to the products website and purchase the product. And the affiliate will get its commission.
But off course this is not as simple as it seems. An affiliate is probably able to write a good review but it still needs to appear in the search engine results of a search engine when an individual types in a product name and review (or something similar)
There is solution for that now (Readymade Review Sites). There are several systems that will help affiliates with that and in fact make it really easy. So that affiliates can easily profit from that consumers that are almost ready to buy but just need one extra argument before they purchase.
Affiliates have a reduced risk with these techniques, because they can eliminate pay per click advertising (adwords). This is a very expensive form of promotion.
Readymade review sites will let you have such tactics

Is online classified ad syndication worth it?
by Callie Davis
Over the last few weeks I have been placingmore and more online classified ads. The problems I have seen is lack of people seeing my ad and being wrongly flagged. I decided to attempt the stumblehere classified ad syndication. Stumblehere.com has made online classified ad syndication the primary focus of their site.
I wanted to find out what online ad syndication is. Stumblehere.com touts their professional ad service. Their Wizard walks you through the ad creation process and then will automatically syndicate and post your ads to over 150 separate highest traffic classified ad directories, online marketplaces, search engines and RSS Feeds. This will save you hours upon hours of personal time. Is your time worth it?
What this means is stumblehere.com saves you not only money but time too. The power comes from entering your ad only one time. After that they do all the work listing your ad in online marketplaces, classified directories, RSS feeds and the top search engines. And this is all done rather quickly, usually within 40 hours or less.
Wow, so I can actually get traffic to my ad? I don't have to spend time posting them 500 places? I don't need to repost them every day due to being flagged wrongly? Sign me up!
So I know from experience that free classified ads work on stumblehere, but how about these new paid ads? Are they really worth it? In doing my research I decided to try their new betterpost product. The way I understand it is the betterpost classifieds are ads designed in beautiful templates, with full ad syndication. Basically I can spice up my ad and get traffic to it without web programming knowledge.
What is the betterpost Premium Ad Feature? The betterpost Premium Ad Feature saves you time and money! They help you create an attractive ad. For a small fee of $7.99, once you place your ad in stumblehere customized templates, they will automatically syndicate and post your ad. Yes, they post your ad for you so you do not have to make multiple postings yourself! This will save you hours upon hours of personal time.
Right now stumblehere only offers betterpost in their vehicles section. I am going to test it out. I need to sell my car anyways. Stumblehere is offering 85% off through the end of October 2008 for anyone who wants to beta test their betterpost ad syndication product. Simply enter 'halloween' all lowercase in the promo code box after posting your ad.
Wow ummm so I can test this out for only $1.20? I think I can afford that test. I placed the ad and paid my buck. My Ad is gorgeous. No really, it looks fantastic, not boring like most classified ads.
This is my first time paying for an online classified ad. After 7 hours I still had not received any response. I read the faq on http://www.stumblehere.com and it said how it can take up to 25 hours for syndication to happen. Now I need to wait it out.
About 7 hours later I got my 1st call... I tried to see what site they saw my ad on but, the gal couldn't remember. She just talked about how she was impressed at how my car looked in the ad.
The next morning I had 3 emails about my car. And later that day call number 2 came in off my syndicated ad. Is this classified ad syndication stuff working? I need to set up times for people to look at my car.
5 days after my post I had 5 calls and 8 emails! To answer my above question, I know classified ad syndication works! It was sooo easy and I only needed to submit my ad once. And it was not brought down from someone flagging it cause they were selling a similar car, etc.

The Basics of a Solid Marketing Plan
by Michael Fleischner
In order to succeed with a basic marketing plan you need to focus on some important elements of a plan that targets the right audience and produces a specific result including lead generation or sales. For your marketing to produce results you should consider using multiple media formats.
There is so much competition today that the messages you use need to be unique. The effectiveness of any marketing campaign is directly correlated to the quality of your list and offer. Before you even begin, think about your product and what motivates people to buy.
After years of trial and error, I have found that marketing results are relatively consistent when you apply the same techniques. These techniques apply to any industry and any type of campaign you may be running. Consider building your marketing campaign based on the following strategies:
Set targeted goals. Before you get started think about the specific goals you wish to achieve. Many marketers focus on generating some type of conversion but you need to define what conversion means to you. Some individuals are just looking for a sale while others are seeking a lead or download. Before you begin your marketing campaign, identify what action you want respondents to take and how you are going to measure it.
Focus on segmentation. Do not attempt to market to everyone. Choose a specific segment and focus your energies there. If you do, your campaign will be more successful. You can increase your chances of success tremendously when you focus on a specific market or niche. Review your current customer and find others like them if you wish to generate a positive ROI.
Identify key messages points. What are the messages that resonate with your audience? Have you used headlines or email subject lines that have performed extremely well in the past? If so, use them to create a baseline and try to improve in later campaigns. You need to speak in the language that resonates with your customers if you are going to grab their attention and gain their trust.
Determine which offers you are going to test. The only way to ensure a successful marketing campaign is by testing various offers. The offer is a key component for driving results and can always be improved. Your best bet is to test multiple offers by splitting your list, your web visitors, or viewable audience. Once you find and offer that works, try to beat its results during the next campaign.
Leverage an integrated marketing approach. Use more than one type of media if you wish to enhance your results. Do not settle for a single email, post card, or advertisement. Rather, discover the media that your segment uses to get their information and buy their products or services. This can help you determine the best way to reach them. Once you develop a campaign, utilize as many of these media types to convey your message and offer.
Using these marketing techniques are important for producing a positive ROI. In addition, be aware of your campaign timing. Even if all of the above criteria are met, your campaign could still fall short if you havent exposed your audience to the right message at the right time.
Review each of these steps before creating your next marketing campaign. Your marketing is only going to be successful if you set specific goals, segment your market, use key messages that resonate with your audience and create a compelling offer. I encourage you to experiment with different media to get your message across and deliver a winning campaign.

Good Design Practices
by Dr Adel Screen
Your website is where your business resides -- it's like the headquarter of an offline company. Hence, it is important to practise good design principles to make sure your site reaches out to the maximum number of visitors and sells to as many people as possible.
Make sure you have clear directions on the navigation of your website. The navigation menu should be uncluttered and concise so that visitors know how to navigate around your website without confusion.
Reduce the number of images on your website. They make your site load very slowly and more often than not they are very unnecessary. If you think any image is essential on your site, make sure you optimize them using image editing programs so that they have a minimum file size.
Keep your text paragraphs at a reasonable length. If a paragraph is too long, you should split it into seperate paragraphs so that the text blocks will not be too big. This is important because a block of text that is too large will deter visitors from reading your content.
Make sure your website complies to web standards at www.w3.org and make sure they are cross-browser compatible. If your website looks great in Internet Explorer but breaks horribly in Firefox and Opera, you will lose out on a lot of prospective visitors.
Avoid using scripting languages on your site unless it is absolutely necessary. Use scripting languages to handle or manipulate data, not to create visual effects on your website. Heavy scripts will slow down the loading time of your site and even crash some browsers. Also, scripts are not supported across all browsers, so some visitors might miss important information because of that.
Use CSS to style your page content because they save alot of work by styling all elements on your website in one go.

Additionally, be sure you know about every cost before ordering: you may have to pay extra for set-up costs, and shipping. Printing fees can vary, if your logo is not vector or high quality art, you may need to shell out a fee to have an artist re-draw your logo, so it is suitable for the printing process. If screen printing your logo, multiple colors will increase the costs by each color. Embroidery requires digitizing your logo for the machine to stitch it out, this can increase the cost, but you can reuse the digitizing later. More than a single location will increase the price in order to have the factory work on more than a single area.
